IPSEA Executive

Meet the IPSEA Executive Board Members
IPSEA member school districts elect an executive board each year to represent the interests of BC Public School International Programs.

President: Mr. Rienold Zimmer The IPSEA president chairs the meetings, signs any contracts and represents IPSEA at a number of official meetings throughout the year.

Vice-President: Ms. Kathren Clarke The IPSEA vice-president takes over the president’s role if he is away and helps prepare goals, meeting agenda and special projects as required.

Past-President: Mr. Rod Matheson The IPSEA past-president serves in an advisory role, conducts elections, and represents IPSEA at meetings and conferences as required.

Secretary: Ms. Angela Olsen The IPSEA secretary is responsible for taking minutes, maintaining the IPSEA membership list and assisting in developing agenda for meetings.

Treasurer: Ms. Maureen Smiley The IPSEA treasurer is responsible for keeping the financial records, maintaining the organization’s bank accounts and paying contracts.

Executive Director: Mr. Harry Brown The IPSEA Executive Director is a paid staff position. Responsibilities include managing projects on behalf of IPSEA members, following up on projects, attending meetings, liaising with partner organizations and doing market research as required.
